Default Suncoast Creations Hood

Does anyone have one? I was wondering how well they fit and hold up.They have one fof 99-2004 that looks bad *** on the GMCs.Also would i need there ramair kit or would a K&N fipk work with it ?

Isn't that the one Golden Velvet has? The K&N will work.

Just put one on my GMC truck. Had it modified to remove the heat extractors. It looks schweettt!!!

got any pics yet to post? Really like that hood , just cant decide between hood or wheels and tires.

Please post up some pics Tbyrne!!! That was the only thing I didn't like about that hood. I would be interested in seeing what it looks like without those heat extractors.

I've owned four of these hoods (long stories, not the mfr's fault) over the last few years on my silver Dakota R/T, they've all been excellent hoods and Suncoast's customer service has been excellent - talk to Chris on the phone.

The heat extractor option is worth it (they cut open the cowls to help vent heat, then mold in screens so you don't suck in leaves/etc.), but avoid the Ram Air setup - it's designed to route air into the OEM airbox with a drop-in filter, if you're using an FIPK or similar aftermarket intake then the Suncoast kit won't work.
