Prety much anything that is stuck on with double sided tape looks cheap IMO Visors, Scoops, Basically look at the Lund ad - I hate it all.

Different Strokes for different Folks.
I think it's good to wear seat belts,
but I think it's bad to be told to wear them.
I always get a good laugh when I see a J.C. Whitney Truck
We have a word for that but I can't say it here.

you have to remember, some of those products aren't for looks.

i bought my AVS bugflector and ventshades because they have a purpose and serve as a function

i agree, i used gmc side moldings and ditched the chevy stuff, bought some aftermarket mirrors ( never have been happy with them ) chrome/painted escalade door handles. 3/4 drop and denali 6 spoke wheels. id like to switch over to a tahoe grill shell and was considering one without the bowtie but is afraid of the aftermarket crap out there.

I do agree. For my undergrad, i went to school about 6 hours away from home. Makin all those long trips, sand and rocks and all that crap (especially winter time) would chip up the front of my hood, so when I had it re-painted i put a bug deflector on. Now that I don't have to travel as much i just took it off, so now my ride looks good and I don't have the chips in my paint!

mine too. my hood does not have one single dig in it from stones thanks to the bugflector. the hood of the Z71 looks good as new and my truck is almost 6 years old.

my dad owed 2 tahoes in the past, '95 and '97, and they had so many chips in the hoods after a year or 2 of use. he never had a bugflector
