Default So lets talk about my interior

Whew, been starting threads like crazy today, havent been on in FOREVER. well, sorry for posting so many threads but i am trying to keep the topics separate. Anyway, heres my question. How difficult is it to dye the plastic interior pieces? i have the dark charcoal in my silverado and want to go to all black, and i mean ALL BLACK. Problem is, i dont want it to be painted glossy piano aftermarket looking black, i want it to keep factory shine and finish but just be black, like, NNBS black, essentially make it look like when gm built my truck they built it with black interior rather then grey, seat covers are easy, set of katzkins and be done with it, but the plastic stuff is the problem, how do i go about making these things black? is it a special dye? does it rattle can on or how is it applied? any information would be greatly appreciated, also, if anyone has done this can you post pics of what it looks like, i have a feeling that with the way the exterior of my truck looks, this would tie it together perfectly.

Either find black trim for sale or go to a paint store and have them mix up some rattle cans for you to spray it yourself.

i would try and find black trim parts, but keep in mind that gm never produced black interior between 99 and 06. so i dont think i can just go find black ones cause i dont think they were ever produced. but i could be wrong?
