If anyone cares, I think House music is like DJ club music. Paul Okenfold is a famous dj if I remember right.

Well your right about the dj club music, and oakenfold is a famous club dj, he's more trance though... but seeing as this is a thread about stereos, I wont go into it...

F8L, here's a link to a song I have that completely wreaked havoc on my components... http://www.satelliterecords.com/live..._number=114696 Just click play...

I don't have any subs at the moment, so I'm just looking for what to buy right now... I'm pretty sure I don't need really low bass, but I have extra room in my RCSB since I have 'vette seats in my truck now... For reference, I want 3 10's in a fiberglass box behind the seats

I am running 2 10" L7 and a JL 1000/1. I have 2 caps goin with an 145 amp alt. with no problems. The box for these subs go all the way across the cab. I will try to get picks so you have an idea what is goin on.

Just for more varity on the setups... the first sub setup I had in the truck was (2) JL 10W0-8s in seperate sealed enclosures centered behind each seat with and amprack in the middle holding the Alpine MRV-1000 I had pushing them. This was by far my favorite setup in the truck. Whenever I added the N2O bottle behind the passanger seat I built another enclosure shifting both of them to the driverside. This setup didnt sound as ballanced as the previous but still sounded good. After my MRV-1000 walked off along with various other things in my truck (damn thieves), I aquired a US Acoustics USB4085 (which I do not recommend to anyone unless you just want a cheap amp) which powered the same staggered JL subs. It still sounded ok but didnt have the punch or lowend I had before. I have since moved those subs to my beater car and recently added a single 10" PPI C1 in a sealed enclosure behind the driver seat. I have yet to fully test it out yet but my initial observation is that it is not going to hold a candle to the JL's.

Interesting...I'd even thought of running four 8's behind the seat of my Sonoma...I'm sure that I could get them behind the seat of the truck. Too bad they don't make an 8W6.

When I went to this single 10, I had though about tring two down firing 8s till a friend offered me this PPi. My roomate in college had six 8's and one 15 in his explorer along with the proper componets and it was the best sounding system I think I have ever heard. Depending on what type of music you listen to, you can make some quality 8's jam.

What are your opinions of this setup. My friend want to trade this to me plus cash for my sandrail.
