hmmm... well i actually like the gmc's chrome pieces... they look better on darker colored vehicles.. but its really whatever floats your boat... i took my molding off of my silverado bc it was a fake chrome piece w/ black plastic and it looked tacky...

but i kinda like that.

and... yes you can use a blow dryer and some dental floss and use it like a saw to get inbetween the body of the truck and the tape on the back of the molding

I think the chrome piece on the GMC's look good, but anywho? I took mine off with a degreaser and some rubbing alchol to take that sticky stuff of the paint. On the chevy's the side molding are lot thicker and harder to take off ,it took me forever to leave it lookin clean. I tried the Blowdryer that didnt work at all for me!!!! It should be easier on the GMC's b/c they aren't as big.

If you can get them off in good condition I will buy them from you. I took off my Silverado moulings because they don't look good, and I have been wanting to replace them with that year Sierra moldings. They would look good on my black truck.
PM me if your intrested. Or E-Mail me in my link below.
Thanks, Steve

I personally think the trim looks nice on there, but it'll also look clean with no molding. Really a personal judgement call
