Is that a reflector type headlamp housing?
Hmm, I'm no expert, but I thought that there are two types of headlamp housings that give HIDs optimum output and that's the projector and reflector style housings. That doesn't look like a projector obviously, but it also doesn't look like a reflector either. Looks like stock to me honestly.
Just a suggestion but I would get the Xenarcs. Yea you'll spend a little more money, but you get quality made parts that really are HID lights.
Unfortunately for us sierra owners the best we can do is the Denali projectors and an HID kit with 9005 based HID capsules...

i wanted the hint of blue in mine thats y i went with 6000K...the diamond cuts distrubute the light from the cuts in the housing. and the stock ones distribute the light from the lines on the lens. right now im trying to find the "glare plaques" to fit over the bulbs. im gunna have to get them custom made prob.
but im happy with mine

I have some APieceofCraps projectors on mine, the light output used to suck even with HIDs, but I opened them up and reconstructed the shields with some aluminum. Now the light output is much much better. The cutoff is not as sharp as it used to be, but the light pattern, output and color became very similar to the 3 series BMW's. I was thinking about selling them for some Xenarcs, but I'm still up in the air about those.

I went with a conversion kit. I had my doubts about it.. BUT it looks quite well IMO. I dont like the Xenarcz. Cost too much. Yeah my light cutoff isnt straight but oh well. If you look to conversion kits, as long as the HID capsule is in the same place as the halogen filament was the beam cutoff will remain relatively the same as stock head lights. I put the 5200K setup im mine. Very well constructed kit. No cheap bullcrap ballasts or bulbs. Hella ballasts and Osram bulbs. Got me some nice white retina-burning lights now!
I picked up my kit for $360 shipped.

I bought some Denali projector lamps from a generous member on here parting out his truck (got them for $250 shipped). I don't have HID on them, and "just" have the Sylvania SilverStar bulbs in (which, I LOVE). Personally, I love the way the beam shines - much farther, wider, and provides much better visibily in that each beam is split into two other beams which helps create the wider range. Up until a few months ago I had badly wanted a pair, and since putting them on I havn't quit smiling.
