Default Easy Question--Need Air Dam, to be Black

BlownChevy's truck is sweet, IMO! I have kinda the same plan for mine as he did for his.
I have ordered the black Tahoe Grille (# 15770033) already.

But how do I get my air dam black?
Is there a good a/f one, or is the stock one paintable? What do you guys recommend I do?

Also, should I order the black bumpers or paint the original chrome ones black?
If I should order them, do any of you know the part #'s from GM for a prepainted black bumper (front & rear)?

Thanks for you help!
First time to try the board out--look forward to hearing from ya!

Thanks for the complement! Makes all of the hard work worth it!

If you are interested, you can paint the stock valance, I did. Just take it to any GOOD body shop and they will know what to do.

I had my base airdam painted black, they just need to use the right adhesion promotor. The z71 pre painted grille is sharp. I wish I bought that instead of having my base grille painted. For the bumper I used the painted bumper from gm, It actually came in a primer white.
I'll look for the part #.

You can either paint the stock airdam, or you can get a PIAA airdam. It is already black. But you cant use the factory fog lights.

Get the paintable front bumper if the color-matched one isn't available. As far as the back bumper goes, just get a Denali rear bumper cover.......it fits over the stock fleetside bumper, but you have to use the denali top pads.

Hey Jared!, It is Brandon (small world).
I figured if I had to get rid of the Ultra, I might as well do some easy things to what I drive everyday, but you know how meticulous & obsessive I can get...so we'll see what happens in the end!
Still missing my Ultra though....painting valances isn't the same as slapping heads on an Ultra and turning it into a rocket...oh well.

Anyways, I have a sport side rear bumper, so should I just go ahead and have it painted black (is this my only option)?
For the front bumper, I got the VIN off a Z71 Tahoe that came factory with the bumper painted black. I guess I'll see if I can get it that way as a replacement part.

Thanks guys!

Why not go with a rollpan?

I would, but I pull a trailer every now and then.

Do they make one that can hide a hitch?

Sure they do. I now stylinconcepts sells one but I am sure you can get it from somewhere else.
