I have never heard of Screech Powers, you have an inordinate amount of pop cultural knowledge. Especially with that “Just be legends” thing from fyre festival haha. I did look him up though that is sad to hear.
Believe me the "fun" wears off quickly!

Using a pressure blaster with a constant 175psi air supply has the sand going everywhere but gets the job done quickly. Going through a humid hot work day with sand in every body orifice really sucks lol. My 80 gallon 175psi two stage compressor has a hard time keeping up when sandblasting. 25 gallons at probably 125psi max probably struggled quite a bit keeping the pressure up.

Welcome to my world... body/paint is the absolute dirtiest in all of automotive, but also the most rewarding seeing the final product.

Oh most certainly. I like using building stuff with wood but I framed houses for a hot Texan summer and after that I didn’t even wanna touch a nail gun lol

The final product is the best part though you are absolutely right.

Whats your plan of attack for polishing? I've never had the patients for it but I'm excited to see these done.

1500 grit hand sand first and then I have two bars of jewelers rouge that will be used with a drill. I thought about maybe trying out the brown bar alone cause that one is the cutter and then doing the white without sanding but I think I will sand

Better get at it! You should be able to have them done before the headers show up right?

Haha I could maybe do one wheel a day after work. I'd be very optimistic in saying I can do two. I didn't have time yesterday to start but I do have everything ready to go. I may take some time and walk down to the shop after work today and try and polish one. I still don't have a sealant which makes me a little worried but I have not really found anything incredible. Everybody complains about all of them lol

Probably gonna need more sandpaper....

COuld you have them polished then clear powdered? I know my powder guy does clear over raw aluminum a lot just not sure if it would stick well to polished.

I think you could but the problem there is that it will dull the finish a lot and so that is the only issue there. I think I am just going to have to keep up with the wheels hardcore.
