Wow I can't even imagine doing that after working with that caustic stuff for 4 decades!

When you get a dollop on... lets say your arm.
That spot gets cold first then it starts to burn then keeps getting hotter!

Could have been worse,
just think of the attention you'd have gotten from all the smiling nurses at the ER

Edit: Now I'm getting mixed reviews online about that lol I wish that guy sent me the can of whatever he used so I would know what it was. I only asked him about 5 times.
Should have asked about 6 times, thats the magic number

I should have punched him in the face when I went to his house and screamed louder. Nah but he had some sweet billets on his green crew cab replacing these wheels. Good looking truck.

I do specifically remember the cold then warm sensation! I think I turned the shower up hotter which opened my pores and increased the burning sensation

Lol he'd be the daily talk of the ER for sure!

Been there done that...

When I was 12 a neighbor had given me a surplus WWII pineapple hand grenade. I put the heavy grenade in a athletic sock and was swinging it around and around letting it go seeing how deep it would land in the backyard grass. The sun got in my eyes... the next thing I knew I awoke in the ER! My room kept getting Dr's & Nurses wanting to see the boy that survived getting hit with a grenade... on top of his head!

I'd rather face a weapon of mass destruction than have my pecker burnt off

Maybe I'll get some blast media, some soda or walnut. I have a buddy with a blaster. Ugh The choices, I am just anxious to get them polished. Was dreaming about it last night

Yo how much should I get? 50 lbs?

Does anyone else have the disease where they change their mind about 40 times before actually doing something? I've gone back and forth on how to do these wheels who knows how many times

IDK if a soda blaster is enough for paint. Glass beads work well on aluminum and the finish isn't very rough.

Pay someone to refinish them
