Question Non ricey projector headlights???

Looking for a set of head lights with a projector lens for the lows and regular socket for the highs, no fancy LEDs or halo bullcrap

Is there such a thing? Or will I have to build my own? The headlights for the 99-02 are not clear like the 03-06. So I couldn't just get a projector and bolt it in, but they do make replacement headlights with a clear lens for the low and high beams

I know they all suck.. Spoolin' made his own on the manvan and it turned out pretty good. I probably won't screw with any time soon. I've put 4k miles on my truck this year I don't even drive the thing

Do a search for the Depo projectors. I did some research a while back for a projector and it had the best performance for an HID bulb IIRC. I just wasn't a fan of the look. If you can find some XE Sighting housings, which are the old Sylvania XoXo projectors, they look nice and function well. I ended up going with some clear lamps off ebay. They look good but do not cast the light from my HIDs all that well.

Those first ones aren't bad. They'd look pretty decent I think.

Your best bet for the best looks, and output. Will be to do a retrofit of your own lights, or an oem looking light that is clear. Check out Theretrofitsource.com and pick up the mini h1 projectors. These will be the best for your application.
They also have a forum, hidplanet.com that has a ton of threads on the 99-02 and 03-06 trucks. I have an 04 that I retro'd with mini h1.
If you decide to go this route, you can pm me and I'd be more than happy to help you along with your questions about the project.

I will never go with a mini h1 again. Mine stick all the time. TRS wouldnt email me back nor call me back when I started having issues. Matt and a few others assured me that the 5.0's are flawless, and then a couple months later issues arose. I wanted them to warranty out the whole thing because apparently people got sent out 4.1 Solenoids and plates. Though I've had a few friends get the 6.1s and still same sticking issues. FXR is the only way to go imo. I've made a few threads but gotten a pm I needed to stop "spamming" their site or I will be banned.

Faze, are the FXRs as easy to adapt as the Mini H1? I've got a Denali.

You're referring to the hi/lo shutter sticking? I was about to do the retrofit on mine.
