Default New Headlights

Alright I need some quick opinions....I am about to upgrade to a plug and play HID kit and I was wondering what "K" rating I should get. I have been thinking about the 8000k, but I saw that one guys truck on 24's w/ 12000k and I liked it a lot. Anybody have any input about what I should run?

i have 6000k and they have a touch of blue to them but a lot brighter than 8 or 12k, 8k is blue, 10k is really really blue, the road is blue, and 12k almost look purple to an extent. here are some pictures of mine

one is close and the other is a little farter away, both with denali lights

Most run around 6000k. It gives great light output and a tint of blue. Any higher than that, they will give the look of more blue and then purple, but the light output decreases.

OO ok so its actually better to go with the 6000k if you are actually wanting to increase your viewing. My original idea was 8k but thanks for the pictures.....I'll probably go with 6000k

6000K here. Perfect white/blue balance. Much higher and it gets you into the invisible light spectrum. Plus it loses actual light output, rated in lumens.
