Default Lower on drivers side

This might be a dumb question, but I just installed a 3/4 on me regular cab and the driver side seems to set about 1/2" lower than the passenger side.
Anyone know why?

I think it is because of the gas tank. Mine at stock height was 1/2" lower of the driver's side. I took it to the dealership and the installed some insulators to even it out.

Not sure why, but very common on the 99-up trucks. Friend of mine went 4/4 and had to use a 1" spacer on the drivers side front spring, to make it look right.

It's pretty common on our trucks. It's more noticeable on my 01 Sierra.
