For the past little while Ive smoothed and painted my dash bezel, the plastic around the power window controlls/power locks, and also the plastic peice around the inside door handle. My question is should I smooth and paint the upper dash pad black? or should I just paint it black and not smooth it? Also what type of paint should I use to paint the inner door panels and glove box and peice under the steering wheel? I dont wanna smooth everything cause 1 its alot of work and 2 I wanna add a kinda of variety look to it. So let me know what you guys think
PS not painting the rest of the interior is not an option becuase I hate the blueish gray colour of the 99-02 stock interior

On the top of the dash it might have a rubbery feel, my 03 did. If you try painting it, it may bubble. I recommend sanding it smooth first. Them priming and painting. It took me 2 evenings and that was switchind between a da and hand. Some of my interior is smooth and some is textured the smooth looks way better. I used duplicolor.
