Kelvin rating are very misleading. PIAA 5k bulbs are really blue. Too blue to be used as a main headlight bulb. Even what they call a 4200k is pretty blue yet the 4000k is mostly white with a hint of yellow. I run the Extreme Super White bulbs and they work great. Still have a tint of yellow to em but they look very good on the truck and are very bright for a non HID.

I have 7500K Fog Lights on my truck and they look a little blue but they are PIMP!!
I have the same ones as my High Beams too, You can see how blue the bulbs are in the pic too. I have the SYLVANIA Silverstar High Performance Halogen for Low Beams. I also got the 3157A/4157AST High Performance Signal Lighting Twin Pack. They look blue when not lit and glow amber when lit 100% street legal.

I HAVE ALL THE FOG LIGHT PICS HERE WITH MORE OF THE HIGH BEAM AND LOW BEAM TO COME
