So let me get this straight just because it's kind of hard to tell in the pictures and they way people are wording things.

When you cut the wire, the wire that is going to the lightbulb you add a length of wire(if ya want) and ground somewhere??

And the other part of the wire (going back into the truck) you just tape up and tuck away?

Yes, that is exactly how you do it.

hey guys, another way to do it is just to ground the yellow wire from under the fuse box with a wire tap. i havent done it yet but got it from another forum. might be simpler?
