No problem guys, glad to help out. Actually, I'm not too sure about the foglights since I don't have the factory foglights on my truck, but you might want to try it.

Does anyone know how i can hardwire my foglights to the factory foglight switch, i got the factory foglight kit from chevy, and they want 75.00 to program the computer for them to work. I'm sure there has to be a way that i can make them work without having to pay that kind of money. Any help would be greatly appreceiated.

Just pay the money...from them or someone else. its worth it to have them work the right way.

I tried to do this today but I have no yellow wire. The wires coming out of my lights are blue and red. 1 blue and 1 red run from the lights on back to somewhere else and 1 blue runs from the bright light connector over to the dim connector, other than that there are no other wires.

This is a 2002 2500HD with an 8.1L if that matters.

Thanks alot for the help. Can I just tap into the yellow wire or do I have to completely cut it and tape off the end comming from the healight switch?

I did this and now my cruise doesn't work. I'm going to go back to stock and see if it helps

No, don't tap it!!! Completely cut the thing off and tape it.
