I just did the mod in my drive way, very cool! But no one has ever said how to make the drls work with the parking lights, I know the blinker and the parking lights are different parts of the bulb, so any thoughts?

I was hoping to make my drls amber, and to have them on with the parking lights.

Do you mean that the DTRL's will blink along with the turn signal, as if both of the bottom lights are the same?

Trying to remember when I did mine, but basically your DTRL is a 2 lead connection and the Parking Lamp/Turn Signal is a 3 lead. Just take 2 new Parking Lamp/Turn Signal sockets and I just used some of the wire taps from Radioshack. Connect A on the new socket to A on the existing socket, B to B, and C to C. I just wrapped the old DTRL socket with electrical tape in case I ever need to change it for any reason. It takes about a total of 10 minutes to put everything together and the entire lamp blinks for your turn signal along with being amber. If you have any questions let me know, and I can take some pics if you need them.

well i want to keep my drl's and have them come on with the parking lights. I know its asking alot...thinking about just splicing in to the parking light wire for the turn signal and setting up a relay for it, but thats kind of a pain in the *** if i can just stick another diode under the dash and change to an amber bulb.

So you're wanting the drl's to trigger the parking lights or right the opposite? I'm just confused at the moment.

BTW, for anyone looking to do the high/low on the 99-02 trucks, I just finished it up about 20 minutes ago. If you wanna hide the wiring there's a bolt on the front of the upper radiator support that works as a great grounding spot and the wire is hidden by the plastic cover over the radiator. Not counting the time it took me to solder on the ring terminals, it's about a 15 minute job.
