ok, so i have this grill with the billet inserts.


but the problem is, i want this grill


are they interchangable and if so, where can i find one. also, can i exchange to billet out to it.

 

can i buy just the chrome pieces for between the headlight and the DRLs?

 

the hoods are different. you'd need the grille shell and the hood.

That is correct. Your current grille ('06-'07 Classic) is 3 separate pieces. You have the main grille and the 2 divider pieces that are between the headlights and turn signals/DRL. The '03-'05 1500 grille is one piece (this includes the chrome that is between the headlights and DRL's. The hoods are different too. You need to match the hood with the correct grille. It will look like crap if you mix it up.

 

if I were you i'd buy new grille straps(area between headlamps and parklamps) and send them somewhere to get chrome plated then just swap them out, unless you just gotta have the 03-05 grille/hood setup

 

ha no its not a must have, but i do like the look alot. im not a big fan of the plastic look between the headlights, and color matching would do me no good. where abouts can i get those pieces chrome plated?
