I was talking with my brother-in-law and he said he did it on a 95 2wd silverado he had and it just raised the front up a bit and lowered the back. I can't do major suspension stuff due to my warranty.

Yeah, forgot that you can't use both! They do make an aftermarket cap that looks like the GMCs, but is smooth and paintable. I bought one for $50 and looked awesome on my '99 Sierra.

Yep, I have that too! Mine is a truck master designs piece and its smooth and paintable. I got one so I could cover up the holes from the stock cap when I put my tonneau on.

My valance is also a made by the same company and is definitly a quality piece. I was on their site and noticed they do make a smooth paintable valance for the 03+ silverados as well so you wouldn't have to sand the stock one.

Not major at all. Very simple. And Not much money I dont think it will mess with the warranty. I got mine at Lawrenceville Auto Parts for $52. About a 30 minute install. Makes them look alot better.
