Default Gauge Needles

I have two questions:
First off does anyone know where I can buy aftermarket needles for my 00 cluster? And second does anyone know where I can get the info to recalibrate the needles (my speedo registers 15mph slower that I am going)?

for the needles, check www.usspeedo.com On that page their are links to dealers who sell their needles. What cuased your needles to be off? Did you get different sized tires? If that's the case, you'll need someone who can reprogram your comp or get a hypertech. If the needles are just off, just take apart your gauge and reinstall it without the lense. Turn the truck on and see where it registers at idle. Pull the needle off and put it back on so that it barely rests at zero at idle.

My needles ended up being off when I painted my needles, also by about 15. I took the speedo needle off at idle and put it back on at the 15 mph mark. It fell back down to 0 and is as accurate as its ever been. It does take a little trial and error to get it just right though.

Alright now I've got another question. Are the needles that same length on the 2003-2005 trucks as the 99-02 ones? I know that the newer trucks have another needle but if they are the same size I'll just suck it up and buy a better looking needle and have one left over.

I beleive the newer ones are a little longer. The new cluster doesnt have bumpstops anymore and is layed out a little different as far as looks. I would get some from us speedo thats where im going to get my stainless overlay for my esc cluster and get some blue needles.

I agree with Black Yukon - check US Speedo's website, at least you'll have a pictorial of how they come off, lengths, etc etc.

I think www.stylinconcepts.com has some gauge needles also. I think they have red and silver ones.
