Default front clip ?

Okay, the Avy without body hardware.... that's just a normal Silverado front clip right? I haven't really studied it, but that's what it looks like. SO, if it is, would a GMC front clip bolt up to it?

I'm looking to get an Avalanche by year end (hopefully!), but I prefer the front end of the Sierra. I would be getting one without the body hardware, so I was wondering if this would be possible. Anyone know? Anyone done it?

I like the idea of being able to carry 4x8 sheets of drywall and plywood fully covered in the back. The CC 1/2 ton has a shorter box than my EC did.

Avalanche without all body side molding would bolt up just fine with a complete kit if you can find one. Avalanche with all the plastic side molding will not unless you wanted to get into heavy body mods.

If you do this, PLEASE post pics. I've always wondered how one would look w/ some GMC sheetmetal, or even a Denali clip.

Is that the one thats like black with orange flames on it?? If so that was also in the october of 2004 issue of Sport Truck Magazine. That front end kit does bolt up ok but none of the body lines match. You have to do alot of cutting and fillling in order to get the body lines right. Dont want to discourag ya from doing it cuz it can be done and it would look sick as hell but just be aware its not just a simple bolt on.

Which body lines don't match up? As far as I know, as long as you get one w/o the cladding, all the body lines should match up just fine.

A GMC Avalanche would be HAWT! A Denali one would be even HAWTER!
