Gauge Lighting Instructions
#52
I used to have a apc overlay, and the blue film over the gear seletor and odometer made it blurry. I could not see it in daylight, and at night had to squint to read it, and i have good eyes

Im going to take the ac cluster out tomorrow and see how involved it is to try and change out the bulbs. Kind of off topic but Dub Silverado did you get your pacesetters yet still havent gotten mine and ordered them about three weeks ago. BTW i just put my lade cluster in tonight and I thought it looked good but yours just looks awesome I already ordered the bulbs so mine can look like that

No i have not recieved my pacesetters yet
Its a huge differnce from the stock lade gauges, to the new leds.
I think you do have to use the WLED, otherwise the light will not bright enough throughout the cluster.

I dont care if you copy me, if i did care about people copying this easy mod, i would not have posted the instructions. Keep me informed on the ac lights, i might go for that if its not much work.

No prob ill pull it out tomorrow and post on here what kind of bulb it is and how involved it really is. From what I remember its just a couple of screws and disconnecting a couple of wiring harnesses. But Ill find out tomorrow or should I say later today.

And since you're in Houston, yo can give me a tutorial if all turns out well.
I do have an A/C control from a Silverado you can practice on in case you dont want to screw yours up.
