Default Escalade cluster has dark spots with the LEDS in it

I just noticed how bad the lighting is with my escalade cluster with teh blue leds in it. Is there anything I can do to make the lighting more uniform?

Here is avideo that shows it better

take the led out and turn it 180 degrees and see if that helps. if not then its the led itself. did you get the new cups that they sit in with it?

did you have the LEDs put in there or do they come like that?

You might look into getting wide angle LEDs.
Typical LEDs have a 10-15 spread
Wide angle LEDs are available with a 40 spread
Super Flux or "piranha" type LEDs are closer to 90 but they are square have 4 legs instead of 2. (They still wire in the same way though, the 2 extras are just for higher current and heat dissapation)

They are the "cluster" style if memory serves me correctly they have four facing outwards around the perimeter and one in the middle facing outwards. I know all of them are working because when I put them in some of them werent working at all and I had to take it out flip it 180. If someone could link me to some really good leds that would be great and Ill just replace them. I bought the new twist lock things that the leds sit in then screw into the board. If I remember right the leds have a 194 style prong on them.

Exhappen- the 99-02 clusters screw in with a new twist locks you dont have to solder in the LEDs like the 03+ clusters.
