I think you need to use an adhesion promoter and some flex agent, or something like that so it doesn't crack.

Have you looked at your cover from the back?...that text is kinda pushed thru indented from the back, you sure you can sand all that off without it leaving slots/holes?

I think that cover in the picture has more done to it than just sanded and painted.

Yes I have seen that kit and its a nice kit at a damn good price. However I thought he was focusing on the 3 piece covers and unfortunately that center cover will not work with the side pieces, everything else will though.
