Have you looked at your cover from the back?...that text is kinda pushed thru indented from the back, you sure you can sand all that off without it leaving slots/holes?

Stylin concepts has plastic ones that come smooth, at least for the center section and a few other pieces. The coil pack covers could still be smoothed and painted to match.
