An outlined bowtie, not solid, would look good IMO.

well the cover in the picture isnt stock and has some extensive smoothing and filling with bondo or fiberglass to remove the text that was there. It either had vortec 6000 and the swirls or a round spot where a cadillac emblem used to be. You cant buy them pre-smooth in that shape...at least I have never seen them.

Lets get the covers...paint them...and then work on a sticker/decal design

Man, those covers look sweet...someone put alot of time and sweat into those. As far as a sticker goes, I'd go with something you like, or, if you have a nickname for your truck. (me for instance, have this wierd fascination with skulls, crossbones, the Grim Reaper, etc...so I got my lic plates to say REAPER1...REAPER alone was taken )

If you like retro at all, you could always get some custom pinstriping. Of course there's always flames (gee...haven't seen that in a while )

It should be one of these:

Unless he bought the CF covers from stylin concepts for $500 and painted those

I still think you should get your covers painted, then decide what decal you want and placement if any.

What does it take to paint plastic like that? What is the process?
