Does anyone know if the 2003-2004 front bumpers for a GMC will fit the 99-02 GMC?

 

DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH YOU DO. I DON'T THINK IT WILL.IT MIGHT IF YOU SWAP OUT THE GRILL SHELL AND ALL THAT. COULD BE WRONG JUST MY 02.

 

I have a customer that's puting a 04 setup on a 02 that he bought wrecked. The radiator support is different so your have to change it also or mod it for the grille to fit. Other than that it's all bolt on.

 

I have a friend with an 02 GMC and he swapped out the stock grille for an 03 piece with no modifications. He even kept the 99-02 bumper on there. Looks good. How could that work if the core support were different? Maybe it's just a different p/n?

The frame horns are different between the 99-02 and the 03+, so you will have to fab up some brackets to make everything work.

 

i also have a bud that has a 00 and put a 04 front end on. all bolt on. i can give you his AIM name if ya want

 

The bumper isn't a bolt on AFAIK. Are you sure that the WHOLE front end was a bolt on? Was it a GMC?

 

Waitintodrag, i would love to have that guys name. I really just like the bumper because of the way the fog lights are mounted and the way it looks. I have looked at a couple of others and I just don't like the way they looked. Does anybody know of any bumper/ and spoiler combo that looks halfway decent on a
GMC front-end.
