cost to repair?
Hey guys, what a bad morning. i was backing out of my driveway and hit the tree at the end of it. It snowed and i didnt scrape ice off of mirrors so i could see, i really should have scraped the mirrors .
How much do you think it will cost to reapair? Both passenger doors, tailgate, box, bumper, and something in the front end is broke. Hope its not totaled.
Its a 2005 Silverado, 210,000 miles....

It is totalted.
It is going to be atleast $7000 If I had to guess.
I know it doesn't help but DAMN didn't why didn't you stop when you heard the scraping? That had to make soe serious noise.

I was in a hurry late for work so i backed out kinda fast. when heard it hit the rear i hit the brakes and turned the wheel so the rear would come away from the tree, in turn that made the front turn towards the tree... it just snowed so it was slick also.
It all happened so fast... some of the damage came from trying to get it away from the tree.
I feel like such a dumbass...

Mistakes are mistakes but you will certainly kick you self in the sack for years for this one.
It is certainly totaled event if it is a D-maxx an it doesn't seem to event have that going for it.

Yeah, it's totaled, if you were sitting at 110,000 instead of 210,000 miles you might have had a chance.
That being said... if you have another vehicle that you can use for the time being, and you're semi-close to a u-pull it, or something similar, and can find a couple doors for cheap, along with your bumpers, and fix most of the damage yourself. If you have some tools, and some know-how, you may be able to save a couple grand if you REALLY don't want it to be totaled out.
