Default Cleaning engine bay

It looks ridiculous. It looks like someone tore *** down a snow covered dirt road and got mud all over the the engine bay. So it was fun while it lasted, but I now have a tan motor compartment. Coming from owning an LT1 and being told to never pressure wash it, whats the rule on the LM4/LM7 motors. Is it safe to pressure wash, even low pressure?

thanks

i use my jet nozzle on my garden hose to wash mine down. i always squirt it down with some cleaner and then let it sit then spray away. just don't spray the alt. if you want, cover it with aluminum foil or plastic. i have never had an issue with the truck not wanting to start. the belt will squeel for sec then it goes away.

I use Gunk Engine Brite... comes in those white and orange spray cans. Just spray it on, let it sit 5 minutes, and then wash everything off with a hose.
