trying to decide on grille style to use...

between the big mouth setup
or stock chrome unit, that will have billet inserts if used..

here are some pics... kinda suck...truck is dusty since back from paint shop and pic quality could be better.

i like my black lights so far though...
got a HD hood on it and painted my bumper cap, valance, flares and handles to match...

in my opinion i think the stock chrome unit looks better. im not a fan of the big mouth on the chevy.

just get a tahoe grill or stock grill and paint around the chrome area.

 

i have that as a choice too...doing the painted scheme. i do like the looks of it. Just more paint prepping to do. already working on getting mirrors and tailgate shelf painted...woudln't take much more to paint the grille too probably. thought about that and then painting the bowtie the blue color too....

 

I'm not a fan of the big mouth either, I'd say chrome or Tahoe IMO

 

No big mouth! Get a stock grille with the chrome center bar and paint all of the non chrome stuff the body color.

 

I'm a fan of the T-Rex and the billet bowtie myself, but that's just me. And it doesn't have that outer metal on the grill, so it sits flush. Very clean look.
