Default Can it be done...?

Can a 99-2002 front end be mated with a newer 04/05 truck. I like the new trucks but prefer the front end/lights of the first breed of the new body style. Thanks in advance.

I think you'd have to replace the hood, quarter panals, grill, lights, air damn etc. But that's my guess...that's why I'm asking to find out.

i'd wait till 07.. i hear they are bringing back the look... i cant find the damn spy photos tho. Rumour about the new 07's are, having 99-01 similarites but not the "cat" headlights of the 03-04's with a different styling... still in search of those photos...

Oh yeah you would have to replace all that which you have mentioned. The quarter panels are different. I think it would also just bolt on. The bumber is different also. You can leave it on but would have a huge gap from the fender and where the bumper meet.

I change from a 2001 Silverado front clip to an 05 Sierra clip.
in order to do the Chevy clip you will need:
Hood
Fenders
Grill Shell
Headlights
Parking Lights
Front Bumper
Bumper brackets
The core support should be the same.
