Modded 2014s?

There's a couple cammed trucks down in Houston an I'm sure others around. And atleast one turbo truck too, it's on youtube.
I'm putting the converter and cooler in mine tomorrow morning after work. LTs and ORY as soon as they're available with an MBRP 3" cat back. Already have CAI... These things run strong in stock form.
With converter and LTs and tune I can't wait, it's going to be a rocket.

Did you notice any gains with your CAI, other than being louder? I did a muffler delete on mine and I like the echastity note, but I didn't notice a change in performance. If it changed it was minuscule.

In my opinion, and that's all it is... to actually get any kind of gains out of a CAI, you have to change the tune. Having said that, I haven't done any tuning on this thing yet. I didn't remove the muffler for any performance gains, I just hated how quiet the truck was, these '14s are ridiculously quiet inside.
I have trouble feeling gains from the seat of the pants... always have, unless it is a very noticable change. When I had a hundred shot on my 2001 rcsb, I noticed that! However, same truck, I did heads & cam on it with LTs and 3" X Pipe true duals dumped, and honestly couldn't feel a difference from just driving it... now did it make more power and run better? Ofcourse it did, I just couldn't tell unless it was at the track to see time differences, or running someone on the street.
I filled my '14 up with E85 a month or two ago and I'll be honest, that was like having a small shot on the truck it was a very noticable difference.
