always thought about doing this... but at the same time its not very often the need to get back there...

Yes it will, with the bottom up.
but it's easy to stick some foam weatherstrip or something similar on there to stop it.

Definitely a cool mod, though I kinda prefer mine up... leaves more floor space. I definitely like how they did there back piece with that cover though, I hate how GM just left it all open with the foam and everything when you take your seat out (if your going ot the track or something)

Here is mine, not as nice looking as the pictures on fullsizechevy, but it works.
