There is no performance difference in a drilled and slotted rotor or a plain faced rotor. Drilled and slotted rotors really doesn't dissipate heat any faster either. I work for Wilwood Engineering and the owner here was real hesitant on doing the drilled and slotted rotor because of it. We had to come out with it because of the demand.
Unreedemed said it, most of the braking is done with tires. The other is rotational mass. By drilling and slotting the rotors, you are just taking mass away from the rotor which can cause cracking or warpage.

Are you testing the stock braking system versus a BBK? Of course you're going to brake better if you upsize in rotor and swept piston area.
