had a 8" powered bazooka tube installed in my 04 sierra extended cab tonight at curciut city with the stock stereo system it sounds pretty good for the 100 bucks it cost i listend to mostly heavy metal and it sounds good it added that extra bass that is missing with a stock system just thought id let you guys know

Sweet.... I had a pair of 8" bazookas in previews car and they were nice.

 

Hey I was thinking about getting one of those do you need a seperate amplifier for those bazooka speakers because I think I heard that some came with an amplifier. But Im not sure do they sound pretty good?

 

They come without an amp and amplified. I have only heard on sedans and hatchbacks and theysound nice. I have never heard then on a truck though.

 

the one i bought is amplified it has 30 watts or 50 i forget it sounds descent
it doesnt rattle your chest or anything but it adds the bass that the stock system needs and it fit nice under the rear seat if you listen to rap it doesnt sound as good but its ok for 100 buck s what do you expect but its definetly worth it if your gonna keep your stock system
