3/4 Drop too bouncy

I droped my 97 C1500 Ext. Cab and the front seems too bouncy. I used 3" drop coils in the front and Shakles/Hangers in the back. I still have the factory ride shocks. Should I change the shocks? If so which shocks are the hardest but best. I scraped the **** out of my front tires when Im going fast and there is a little jump. Iam a daily speeding driver.

you need to change your shocks. shocks are designed to work in a specific "idle" area, and by lowering, it you have taken it out of that area. make sense? don't skimp on replacements or they will be worse than what you already have. use the edelbrocks if you can afford them. at least for the front.

You lowered it the "cheap" way. For better ride and camber, you should have used spindles and 1" coil and shakles/hangers or a different leaf pack. If new shocks dont fix anything, looking into the brand of equipment used and the method. There is a reason ppl use spindles.

Never had a problem here. What DOES come in affect is if you rub and are forced to turn wider.
btw, setup on my old truck was a 91 ext cab lowered 4/6 and no problems. Also had 18's.
