Default 20 x 10 SS wheels

20 x 8 SS wheels have a 5.5 back spacing. According to my measurement, a 20 x 10 with 7.5 in of back spacing would be within 1 inch of the leaf spring. I would like to run a 305/35/20. Anyone done this? Would clearance from the bed be a concern when the axle articulates? I have a 4/6 drop.

I run a 7"' backset on my 20x15 without a problem.I have 1" of clearance from tire bulge which you have to take into consideration. If you do violent donuts or something like that you may have sidewall contact if you run 71/2" of backset.
Your bed tubs will have plenty of clearance with no concern.

Thanks, sounds like I should try it. Measure twice, buy new wheels once.

WorkTruc - I have to admit, that is a mean looking set up you have. I saw your original thread as I lurk on here a lot.

I am doing something very similar to my rear wheels, they are Texas Edition Stock 20x8.5 with 31mm offset and I will be running 305/50/20s with a 3/5 drop.

I am planning to have them widened by 1.5" to make them 10" wide.

Right now my rims are exactly 3" from my leaf springs so if i widen them by 1.5" on the Inside/Rear of the wheel then they should be 1.5" from the leaf spring.
