Well what ever the case may be, I have the 06 grille coming in victory red to match, I just have to get the chrome crap painted. I have the 06 hood coming, I will let you guys know what happens with the fittment. I found a guy that is selling the 06 grilles brand new , take off's. $125

u might as weel get it the painted one . because thw work truck one is textured and it can be a pain when you can get factory matched . also a guy in the body shop at chevy told me its just grille and hood also

I know that I can order the one for my truck (ss) already painted with no chrome at all. But that piece is $340 and the one I got which has red between the lights and then chrome around the grille....for $100, from a dealer take off. So I couldn't beat that deal.

You'd have to drop at least $1000 at junkyard prices. I don't even want to talk GM.
