What is involved in putting an 05 -06 hd grill in my 03 hd?

 

Well the 05 HD's have a different front grill with an aggresive styled hood. The hood is risen more so it looks like a stock cowl hood in a way.

The 05 HD Grill and hood will be standard in all 06 silverados!!! So, to answer your question all you need is the 05 HD Grill and hood for your 03

If you look at the front bottom ridge of your hood you'll see that the center section has a raised notch at the grille. Compare that to the flat bottom of the HD hood in the pic that was posted above.

 

You can clearly see here when compared to an 04 hood line.
