as for programer, i wouldnt hit a duramax with one of those cheap predator or HPP3 units. they are pressure units, not pulse type tuners. this means not as safe IMO. go with the edge juice box. i have the hot juice box and made 358 rwhp and 738 rwtq on some hot turbos (didnt allow any cooldown). this was on a truck that was 3 days old and ofcourse totally stock. if you dont want that much power, then i would stick with stock as it is plenty ample. you get what you pay for in programers.

I did a bunch of reading on programmers/tuners and it seems that the Edge Hot Juice is the hands down favorite. Best price I've seen is $555 for a new one and there are a couple on ebay... I definately don't want anything that is going to tear up the truck, I just want a little extra "pep" :p

I saw a buddies 01'HD yesterday and he had a solid 3" or more on my Z71. All he did was crank up the T-Bars and it looks great with 33s on it. I want to do the same on mine so he said to get some 2" blocks for the rear and we can crank up my T-Bars. Would I be able to do this with my stock keys or will I need to get the Ford keys? Mine is an 01'GMC Sierra 1500 Z71. I am at stock height right now running 285/75/16s.
