'03 GMC 2500HD 4x4 leveling kit??
I just got a new duramax and I don't really care for the stance. I'd like to lift the front end of the truck up a couple inches to level it out. I did a quick google search and didn't net any results. Any thoughts?
I'm also going to pick up a programmer for it, I'm leaning towards a Diablo mainly because I can get one for cost.. Thoughts on programmer/chips??

Did you crank up the torsion bars yet? If that doesn't give you enough... I used Ford Keys on mine, but I've only got a 1500... don't know if they work on the HDs.

Yes crank up your bars. The Green T-bar keys from GM will do the same thing as the Ford keys also. Those are the only thing you can do to level your truck. Your ride will get a bit firmer, but its not bad.

I have 285/75/16's on 16x8 wheels on my 2500HD. I installed the "green keys" for 2" lift in the front to level things out and clearance. You can crank your stock T-bars max about 7-8 turns and get 1-1/2" of lift but the ride is very harsh. Easy to try before swapping keys, just take a couple measurements before so you can return it to stock if needed.
The "green keys" are actually keys from a 1500 series truck and are indexed a little more allowing more lift to be achieved. One difference though is that the ride does not suffer nearly as bad as just cranking the stock keys. Similar to about 3-4 turns of the stock keys! They are very easy to install (30-45 min) and will run you about $50 at the dealership.
2500HD's take the keys from a 1500 (green keys)
1500's use the keys from a 2000 Ford F-150

Edge Hot Juice is the only way to go IMO.They are pricey but perform the best of all the programmers. If you do a search in the truck area you will find dyno graphs showing 750+ tq to the ground.

Absolutly!
A couple hundred miles won't hurt anything but get it aligned if you intend on leaving it cranked up anything over 3/4" - 1" or so. A good alignment is a lot cheaper than new tires!

Thanks Guys I got the green keys from gmpartsdirect.com for $45 shipped. I'm taking it for some new 285/75/16 tires now. I'll post another pic this evening.
I'll dig into the performance chips tonight at work.
