So im cruisin home from Coldstone around 7pm, big ice cream in one hand other on the wheel. Its still 100 outside. So im just puttin along down this long straightaway road towards my house. I pull up second at a light and a 2wd CC Hemi with at least exhaust is first in the other lane but im behind a poke. I dont street race much but im dyin to know if i can take this guy.

I just got my retune back and have just barely been playin with the new gears over the past few days. So i make some manuevers and the road opens to 3 lanes. Im in the far right and hes far left. I know he wants some so its on. I stall it upto around 1500 and drop it when the light turns green. I jump out of the hole and off we go. From the line his front bumper is at my rear. I cant believe it at first and he slowly starts comin up on me. I shut down at 85 due to traffic and the fast approaching light and he was at my ext cab door. Hes got to be wondering whats the deal. His girlfriend sure was laughin.. Oh yeah still had my ice cream in tact as well.

So you tell me...?? Is that a kill? He turned before i could give it another run. I know the heat wasnt helpin but he had the same conditions. Long tubes just got bumped to high priority. I wanna be able to give it to these dam hemis and not think twice...

hell ya !!! as long as you are not behind him. its a kill. his girl was giggling at him.. HEMI is just a damn name.

 

Im in Modesto so it may still be a problem. I was just thinking i could leave the cats and cross my fingers the smog guy doesnt notice. Is that wishful thinking or what? Guess ill chalk up the kill. Truck sure feels strong after the retune. Props to jesse for hookin it up.

Well you dont have to smog untill 2008.....Modesto huh? Must be really freikin HOT there!! I'ts hot enough here in the valley. I'm hiding in my air-conditioned office, got the A/C set at 65*!

 

Hot is seriously an understatement. I have been putting off changing my CV's until it cools down. Headin to shasta next thursday and its 100's through then. So one night im gonna have to break down and do it. Ya smog in 08..Lts now worry about it then...

Thats what i was thinking. I was happy. Just need more now..My plan is for LTS now..stall and cam next. But i gotta save for that. Ill have synergy cam and tune. BTW anyone in cali need insurance so i can fund this? LOL...
