When will Hemis' learn?

from the factory R/T's have a 1'' drop all around, 17'' wheels, fender flares, and are monochromatic everywhere except the mirrors latches and wiper cowl, other than the badging and that stuff they do look stock. off the show room floor i dont know how much they cost. i bought mine last year (dec. 31 lol) and it cost me 9,500 loaded to the hilt. turbo that would be nice but at the most i could push what? 12 psi? we have a guy making 600rwhp on a stock block pushing 16 psi on a paxton im not that ballsy. if any one wanted to go talk smack to some R/Ters or more likely know what to look out for, here is a good website. http://forums.delphiforums.com/dakotart/start

I see the Mustang and hemi guys (chevy guys too) all the time hootin and hollarin like their **** dont stink....99% of the time they are straight up stock without a clue. But take the guys who have invested some time and money and have a little knowledge, and they seem to be the best guys in the world to talk to and have a good time. You never really see them acting like A-holes.
Next up would be a Mustang guy who finally stopped, but not because of a loss at all. He just got tired of being challenged by S/O guys with his street legal Mustang... Which ran an 8.25 at nearly 170 at a national event, on DOT tires, after a 30 mile drive. He earned his trash talking degree the hard way... He paid for it!
While he couldn't build the engine to save his own life, he did have connections and cash(I think he sold alotta dope) to get there. I couldn't find a way to respect him, but his car ran like a raped ape. He even had someone else drive it once it was ready for 8's. Blamed his wife for that, but I think he just couldn't maintain focus.

Im not so sure about that one... it was just last night that I beat my first ever silverado ss ( it was an 03 AWD with some sort of duals) from a dig to 100 by about 2 lengths. All i have is a s/c tuner and other bolton's . Ive also beaten the only other ecsb VHO i ran into, and it gave me a way better run than the silveradoss did... from a roll of 40 - 90 I only had 1 length!

I not trying to start a war here, there many fast trucks out there, but I beg the differ, on a hemi beating a SS. There are two varibles when racing. Bone stock there are very close in comparisons, but, I mean but, if the SS was a rcsb like the hemi's have, then the SS would smoke it. But then, woulda, coulda, shoulda. I don't why GM will not do such a thing, and I think thats why many of you buy the hemi's, unless you are just die hard dodge fans. But if you go to motor trend SS vs Hemi, it will show a comparison, keep in mind the SS does weight 1500lbs more. Check out the last page of it. I don't know how to get a link on here, if someone does, please help with it. http:/www.motortrend.com/roadtests/pickup/112_0310_sport_truck_comparison/
