My wussy HEMI has taken down plenty of chevy trucks and cars, in fact i beat a VHO ext. cab on the way home this morning and a gto last friday at the track ( Gto had a new to the car driver)... its running 14.7 with all bolt ons (exhaust cut out, intake, superchips, e fan).... not bad for a N/A motor (although it hails in comparison to many trucks on this page and I give respect) The cam shaft will go in next week so im thinking mid to low 14's on motor... I wish i could find more chevy trucks to race, and i wish i could just find at least ONE ford to race. UP WITH THE HEMI

Beat a GTO huh? Pretty impressive for a truck that runs high 14's to beat a 12 second car.....even if it was a newbie driver. If you did that, my hats off to ya sir. I joke around a bit with everyone about the HEMI, but i know they can be fast trucks with some mods...but beat a GTO.......thats a tough one to take.

 

HA count me out on that bet I am not a sucker, but I will race anybody for fun. The story on the GTO was that there were two dudes that came to the track in the new GTO w/ the ram air hood and as we were forming up in the test n' tune both the dudes were asking me if I was ready to get my truck WHOOPED. As we were going up to pre stage and stage, the buddy of the driver of the GTO blew me a kiss from the sideline to be a bitch ( I guess so I could kiss my *** goodbye?) which made me want to win baad. I landed a .6 reaction time, whereas the GTO driver landed a 1.3 and never ever recovered from it (IDK if he missed a gear too or something?)... that particular race i landed a 14.8 and he landed a 14.9 yeah, its got a HEMI and yeah, he just lost to a truck

 

now thats funny right there... i hate people that act like that. when i go to the track i just want to talk and goof off. i aint even goin to start any crap like that. just there for fun and test n tune.. i had some guys in a 05 F150 EC 2wd 5.4 that wanted to start some crap.. but when they saw my laptop open in my truck, he left.. weird.. he had a hypercrapper... haha, he was "tuning" it tryin to get some time off the 500' track.. hahaha oh man..

but good kill, a good friend of mine has a 05 GTO LS2 M6, she can drive that thing!

 

GTOs' aren't something I will really play w/ as I am now.Sure a stock-slightly modded one I don't have a prob with.But a modded one I won't even think about especially a M6.I've run 1 well modded Goat and lost by about a car and a 1/2 from a 65 punch to about 110.
I have always wanted/tried to run a Rumble Bee or Daytona ram but non of 'em will bite.The Rumble Bee I'd be wondering about is the one w/ the KB that Dodge is supposed to come out with.
