SVT Lightning kill

He said he had a catless X-pipe (or H pipe or whatever it was lol) with bassani exhaust iirc. If my cutout was closed his truck is a hell of a lot louder than mine lol

Its 4 cats in the mid pipe that goes into a twin chamber muffler and out into the 2 tips. No crossovers or anything.
Power comes from removing the cats and our horrifically cramped manifolds.. If he has his mids done to then that is also where all that extra noise is coming from hahaha... Its funny how loud people think these trucks are with just catbacks and they have no idea there are a set of sh*tty manifolds and 4 fullsized cats quieting it down further. These things are retarded "pull me over" loud with complete exhaust and LTs..
SC'd 5.4 with shortened side exit exhaust with no cats and LTs with bulley mufflers.. Neighbors will hate you guranteed.

This of course is for a full exhaust LT and back, no cats. Typical gains removing cats is 15-25+ and typical for LTs are 20-35+ and that's to the wheels. On Eatons to boot. There is a lot to be gained upgrading our horrifically congested exhaust systems.

Doesn't matter what bolt on trucks you pick. You won't see 60+ gain to the wheels. I stand by what I said. We don't have to agree.
I can get rid of my trucks full exhaust, put back on stock headers and cats, put the shifter in 4th to spin the dynos rollers and it won't lose 60hp.
And let's just say it did or they do. It doesn't make a difference in the fact that OP posted he killed a lightning. It's gonna be ok! It doesnt matter what mods OP's victim had.

Yes it's a big three forum, but I think that the majority of GM guys are in here is because this forum is a spin off of LS1tech.

Seen a guy with stock exhaust go to a full exhaust on a lighting at are local track, its race gas 15psi kennebell and he picked up a tenth. wow he was upset. however he did use a set of aftermarket shortys instead of long tubes. Being a chevy guy i will say these trucks can run good they just need someone who knows what they are doing with them, iv spanked lightnings with out the roof mods with my little 5.3 and a little nitrous but its normaly an owner problem not a truck problem. O and c9a1l1l I like your little "Bottles are for babys", but why are you the one crying?? lol, no offence I just had to say it.
