me and a buddy of mine were out sat. night after watching the ultimate fighter! and i got a race with this guy he knows. hes got a 04 acura rsx type s 5speed with full intake and header and exhaust. we went from a 20 roll to about 65 and he stayed right beside me the whole time until the end i started to inch on him. damn that thing was stout. he said he doesn't shift until at least 8000rpms but at least i beat him!

wow.. that rsx must be about a 14 sec car. Good race tho... and ya those little motors make power way up in the power band, that 05 Honda s2000 i raced was shifting around 7500 or so.

 

yeah i checked to see what they ran stock and it said 14.9. and it only weighs 2900#s!!!

 

Isnt the redline of the s2000 something like 9000 rpm..why shift at 7500. Am I mistaken?

 

I got a buddy that shifted a 01 S2000 8,000 quite often, now its in the shop with a seized #1 aparent oil issues.

 

gotta watch out for those rsx's I know of 2 around here that are supercharged and....damn....they are fast, Im sure they are in the low 11's

 

gonna take more than a supercharger to put an RSX in the 11s.
