thought id share this with everyone. my buddy bought his 06 titan 3 months before i got my 06 5.3 extended cab. he had exhuast before i had anything. he kept talkin and talkin about how the titans were badass. i bought gibson shorties, k&n aircharger and cat back with flowmaster delta flow 3 chamber muffler. hes got volant intake and banks exhuast. we were on our way to go ride our dirtbikes about an hour away, so the whole time were floorin it on the freeway and from stoplights with our bikes in the back. he never had a chance. pulled solid on him everytime.

The Titans are quick, but outside of magazine tests, they don't win much. Most races I've seen between 5.3s and Titans have gone to the Chevy. They just don't seem as fast in real world street use as they do in the mag tests. I've only raced one and it wasn't pretty, the race or his truck.
