Default Poop.

Since yesterday's flat tire thing i had to drive my old 99 Sierra 5.3 RCSB stock luckily we havent sold it.

Tonight i raced a 03 Silverado 4.8 RCSB stock
We raced from 30 and i won by a fender.. I had my tow/haul button to see if theres an advantage with that. Idk if he had it on.
I didnt know they were that quick. how much HP do they have.

We also did 2 races from a dead stop.
1st race i didnt want to burn my tires a bit because there were people in a building beside the road. I rev to about 1400 rpms then on 3rd honk i take off and spin til a little in 2nd gear and lose.
2nd race i burn my tires and rev to about 1400 rpms thinkin that will solve the problem. It doesnt i still spin!. should i lower the rpms to about 1000?

One has a "9" in it, and the other has a "4" in it....LMAO.

Not exactly sure.....programming, rods, maybe pistons (higher comp. ratio), someone else will tell you for sure though.

I think higher compression and probably a different cam.

LQ9= higher compression flat top pistons / beefier rods

LQ4= lower compression dished piston / not so beefy rods

Cams are the same (99% sure)
Heads are the same
Everything else is the same (except tuning)

There's got to be something other than just compression, it's seems unlikely that a little more compression could make 45hp. Maybe someone else will chime in.
