Yep typical mustang owner (going from experience from around where I come from). Talking WAY more sh*t than what they can back up.

I would have fell out of my truck laughing at the aluminum block reference since all GM trucks have iron blocks.

Just think......you beat him with a basic modded truck. Just think when you get a few more mods he won't beable to hang with quad cab fullsize truck that weights a good 1500+ pounds more than he does.

Again Great run man!!!

Thanks y'all it was fun seeing the change in his tude when we pulled over after the last race. Wish I had set of lt's and a decent cam. Then he would really be speechless. Those will come as money allows.

Uhh.... not so much there bud. L33's in the 05-07 classics are aluminum as are the LC9's in the 900 series trucks. And the 6.2's, and L76 6 liters etc...

Good kill..... His car is honestly pretty weak to be beaten by a 5.3 half ton crew cab that's pretty stock. But then his car is also 16 years old and if still reasonably stock were pretty slow to begin with. People with big mouths at the track or otherwise always have been pretty funny. I used to laugh when my SRT8 would embarass the Mustang clowns at the local quarter mile. Yes there was the odd quick one but most were just your average stockish slow old Stang..... unless it was an 03-04 Cobra.... then I was dead quckly. I did beat a GT500 Shelby but I simply beat a poor driver, not the car itself.

Im havent' looked into the new 6.2ls much as I know I won't own one with this truck I currently have. as far as the L33 and LC9's.......well my foot still tastes the same when is pulled out of my mouth. My bad. But I learned something new. Thanks for the correction!

Was about to say... I thought at least a few motors were aluminum

You were pretty stock too, thats the best part imo! With a cam, nitrous or LTs it wouldve been a circus for you...
