Default multiple kills then i was killed.....haha

ok a few nights ago i went to pick up my friend and not even 5 mins. down the street a little ricer with those pillar gauges that are supposed to tell your boost and ur exhaust temp, but i guess his were just clocks (mitsubishi eclipse) pulls up next to me and starts revin his little folgers can, well my exhaust is two straight pipes (no cats) but its quiet at idle and my 350 is bored to 380, so he doesnt even know wut i got until my truck started shakin and i revved up on him. so the light turned green and he floors it i wait then punch the hell out of my truck and flew by him i have never laughed that hard. so , so far im havin a good night pick up my friend then head out to find some people to race. about 10 mins later i raced a 1992 5.0 and he had all these stickers on his window. just incase ur wondering stickers dont =hp. so anyways i was thinkin man ima get showed up by this mustang and we took off and i was surprised his whole car didnt fall apart it was sputterin. i was mad cuz i wasted my gas. well so far it was an ok night and i saw my friend with his "new"/"old" trans am. he said hey u wanna go and i didnt think anything of it so i said ok. well keep in mind this kids rich and has had the car for 3 weeks prior to gettin it out on the street that night. well we took off and he made me look like i had a goped engine in my truck. we stopped so i could see what exactly beat me and the bastard had a vortech s/c, and fu^&*#$ slicks. i had no chance wat so ever. well i needed to beat atleast one more person and as i was drivin my friend jason pulls up to me and he just got a new wrx sti. the race was sad and thats all there is to it. BEWARE OF THE STI's they're hella fast. so two wins and two races that shoulda never happened. after the fouth race i said screw it and got gas and went home.

Well first off you will have to put where your from....and secondly maybe you need some different friends who will give you a run for your money... thirdly please stop posting drivetrain questions over in kills forum..there are plenty of people who could help if you'd look in the right place

I just have to ask,
how did you bore a 350 to get 30 extra cubes? .060 over is about 360 c.i.....
inquiring minds want to know...

all i know is that i told city motor supply to bore it to a 380. when i picked my truck up i asked them if they did it and they said yea. i didnt ask any questions and two other guys that have 350's got the same thing done to theirs and stroked it. i have the same idea in mind. all i can tell you i didnt do it myself, and keep doin the math. but when you think abt it a 383 stroker usually starts with a 350 shortblock. and build up from there and when all the parts are on there really isnt that big of a difference. but thats just to my understanding. i could be wrong. if that lets you know anything then good

Well, I am not really sure what they did
but a stock 350 has a 4.00 inch bore and you can only bore the most of them .060 over and that yeilds about 360 cubic inches.
if you take a 400 small block crank and turn down the mains to fit the 350 then you get a 3.75 stroke and if you combine that with a .030 over bore then you wind up with a 383.....
you may want to investigate a little closer on just what they did for you, there is a large difference in cash from a .060 350 to a stroked one ( 383 ).
Have to watch some of these Machine Shops, they can be less than honorable. Or they may have done the best they could do with the amount of cash you had to spend and just told you what you wanted to hear.
