Default me vs lt1 z28

im leavin discount tire and this guy was leavin at the same time, its a one way so i figured maybe ill try him. well he revved at me first and i told him to go from 20, we took off and i started pullin by abt 35-40 but then the damn light turned red. so i told him to get on the freeway and we'll go from 60 so we got to 60 and he was signalin to go slower so i went to 55 i honked it and since im column shiftin i get the jump, we stay even till i break 3rd and i started pullin. had they guy at a little over a car by the time i hit 85. i didnt kno those lt1's didnt make that much power, ofcourse he had his "FLOWMASTER" and that was it, they only made like a little over 200hp and the tq i dont think was much different. but nevertheless it was a good race. thanks for readin

lt1's make more than 200 hp. you raced a six banger if it only had 200 hp. lt1's came with 275 from the beginning. very capable cars. good kill, but they do have more hp than what you think.

yeah stock lt1s with the six speed dynoed around 255 rwhp, around 240 with the A4. Most run around 13.7-14.2 stock trapping between 98-102.

yeah and thats at the wheels, not the crank. I always have to stick up for the ole lt1, i had one and loved it. I literally beat the **** out of that thing until 120k when i sold it. Im not going to sit on here and say that the lt1 is a better engine design and all that compared to the ls1. I prefer the ls1 in almost every category but the lt1 was a very good engine in its day. I think some on here udernestimate them some. Stock for stock they make about 50hp less than the ls1, but still trap 100mph, which is why im skeptical when people talk about beating them. I dont know what this guys truck runs and i wasnt there so i cant really say anything against him, but to pull a lt1 on the highway and keep pulling up top, he must be trapping 100mph + in the quarter. I dont know if his is a single cab or not so i dont know the weight, but i could see his numbers in a single cab getting close to 100 in the quarter if he makes a good run.
